From its spot on a peninsula on the north end of Lake Tenkiller, Cherokee Landing State Park is a perfect home base for a weekend of lake fun. Anglers love the fishing dock and easy watercraft access to Tenkiller, where the crystal-clear waters have earned the lake quite a reputation for big-time bass fishing.

🔥 BURN BAN IN EFFECT 🔥

Cherokee County has issued a burn ban through August 31st, 2026, which is now in effect at Cherokee Landing State Park.
🚫 No campfires
🚫 No open burning
🚫 No charcoal fires

We ask all visitors to please follow the burn ban and help us protect Cherokee Landing State Park, our surrounding communities, and fellow park visitors. Thank you for doing your part to help keep our park safe!
