🚧 County Road 116 🚧
Northern Paving of Bemidji will begin a mill and overlay project on County Road 116 the week of June 1st. The project is expected to take approximately 10 days.

No detour is planned but traffic delays should be expected.

These professionals work in some of the most demanding and often invisible environments in law enforcement, maintaining safety, security, and order behind facility walls. Originally established by President Ronald Reagan in 1984, this week recognizes the courage and integrity required to fulfill complex duties that range from supervising and counseling inmates to ensuring the public's protection.

Beyond the daily operations of correctional facilities, these officers are essential contributors to community well-being. Their roles require a commitment to professionalism and resilience, often while balancing the goals of rehabilitation and public safety.
