Park Ridge firefighters recently joined crews from North Maine, Niles, Morton Grove and Des Plaines for hands-on training at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. 🚒

Crews practiced critical firefighting skills, including hose advancement, search operations and forcible entry, using the fifth floor of the Parkside building before the space undergoes renovation.

Training opportunities like this provide valuable experience working together in a realistic environment and help prepare crews to respond safely and effectively when called.

Meet Mayor for the Day Alyssa Deakins! 🎉

This soon-to-be second grader brought her energy, kindness and big ideas to City Hall this week!

Alyssa stays busy with swimming, soccer and her newest passion, softball. She also loves spending time with her family, visiting the Park Ridge Farmers Market and enjoying Concerts in the Park. 🎶

We loved having Alyssa in the Mayor’s chair and celebrating all that makes her such a special part of the Park Ridge community!
