On Wednesday, May 27, Park Ridge Officers took the 6th Grade Safeties from West Ridge and East Brook on their end-of-the-year trip to the Rockland Boulders baseball game! ⚾️

The students had a great time and represented their schools proudly throughout the day. We want to thank all of the Safeties for their hard work this year helping keep their schools and younger students safe. Your leadership and dedication did not go unnoticed!

What an incredible day at Patriot Hills Golf Club! ⛳️

The Park Ridge D.A.R.E. Golf Outing was a tremendous success, and we want to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make the event possible. As the largest fundraiser supporting our D.A.R.E. program, this outing plays an important role in helping provide meaningful experiences and resources for our students throughout the school year.

This year’s academy will run from June 29th through July 3rd, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily, and we are excited to announce that this year’s class is shaping up to be one of the largest in the program’s history. There is still time remaining to apply, but spots are filling up fast, so please make sure applications are submitted before the May 22nd deadline. D.A.R.E. Officers Julia Manning and Steve Panagi were proud to attend the 5th grade award ceremony at OLMA, celebrating the hard work and character of these amazing students.

A special congratulations to George Thomas, recipient of the Robert Wetzelberger Integrity Award 👏

Established in 2025, this award honors the legacy of Mr. Wetzelberger, a beloved member of the OLMA community who dedicated years of service as a teacher, mentor, and role model. He inspired generations of students through his commitment to integrity, sportsmanship, hard work, and respect.

George truly embodies these values—demonstrating honesty, strong character, academic dedication, and leadership among his peers. We are so proud to see him recognized for being a role model both in and out of the classroom.

We’re in the final stretch and still accepting golfer registrations—but time is running out and spots are limited.

On Tuesday, April 28th, the Park Ridge Police Department proudly celebrated the D.A.R.E. Graduation at the Park Ridge High School Gym. 🎓

Over 145 students from West Ridge, East Brook, and Our Lady of Mercy Academy successfully completed the D.A.R.E. program, surrounded by their families, friends, teachers, and principals. We were also honored to have Superintendent Dr. Gamper, Mayor Misciagna, and Police Commissioner Metzdorf in attendance.

D.A.R.E. Officers Julia Manning and Steve Panagi led the ceremony, where we recognized our essay winners and outstanding students for their hard work and commitment to making positive choices.

We wrapped up the celebration with a fun and memorable performance by magician Dave Corsaro.🎩✨

Congratulations to all of our D.A.R.E. graduates—your dedication and leadership make us proud! Stay safe and responsible!👏🦁🎓🎉
