📚 **August Book Club – Share Your Latest Read!** 📚

Have you read a great book lately? We'd love to hear about it!

Join us for our **August Book Club**, where everyone will have the opportunity to share a book they've read this past month. Whether it made you laugh, kept you guessing, inspired you, or became a new favorite, we want to hear your recommendations!

This is also the **perfect meeting to join us if you've been thinking about becoming part of our Book Club.** There's no assigned book this month—just come ready to talk about something you've enjoyed reading and discover new titles from fellow readers.

We'd love to welcome some new faces, so bring a friend and join us for a fun afternoon of books, conversation, and community! 📖☕

📚 **August is here, and there's so much happening at the Parker Library!** 🍎🍂

As summer comes to a close, we're excited to kick off another great school year with the return of some of our favorite programs!

🎨 **Maker Monday** and 🔬 **Tinker Tuesday** are back beginning later this month! Join us after school for hands-on art, creative projects, STEM challenges, and plenty of fun. Watch our page for weekly activity details!

📖 **Wiggle & Read** will continue every **Wednesday afternoon**, offering stories, songs, movement, and activities designed especially for our youngest library friends.

🗓️ We also invite community members to attend our **Budget Hearing**, immediately followed by our **monthly Board of Trustees meeting**. Your interest and participation help support the future of our library and the services we provide.

Be sure to check out our **August calendar** so you don't miss any of the fun. We can't wait to see everyone back at the library for another exciting season of learning, creativity, and community!

What an incredible way to wrap up our **2026 Summer Reading Program!** 🎉📚🦖

Our **End of the Summer Bash** was filled with laughter, smiles, and so many wonderful memories! From face painting and inflatables to games, summer reading awards, and spending time together as a community, it was the perfect way to celebrate an amazing summer.

A huge **THANK YOU** goes out to everyone who helped make today such a success!

💙 Our amazing **Friends of the Library** volunteers for giving their time and helping everything run smoothly.

🎨 **David Anderson** for sharing his talent and creating fantastic face paintings that brought so many smiles.

🎈 **Mundell Pumpkin Patch** for providing the inflatables and for being so flexible in working with our schedule.

📚 The wonderful **Parker Library staff**, whose hard work and dedication made this event possible from start to finish.

🌟 And finally, thank you to all of our generous **sponsors**. Your support helped make this summer's programs and today's celebration possible.

Most importantly, thank you to all of the children, families, and community members who joined us throughout our **"Unearth a Story"** Summer Reading Program. We loved spending the summer with you and hope you made memories that will last a lifetime.

🌞🌧️ **Rain or Shine, the Fun Goes On!** 🌧️🌞

Join us **tomorrow** for the **Parker Library End of Summer Bash!** 🎉

No matter what the weather brings, we'll be celebrating an amazing summer of reading and fun! If it rains, some activities may be moved indoors, but the party is still happening.

Here's what you need to know:
🎈 Activities begin throughout the day (location may change depending on the weather)
🍔 **Lunch service begins at 11:00 a.m.**
🏆 **Summer Reading Award Winners will be announced at 1:00 p.m.**

We can't wait to celebrate all of our summer readers and spend one last day of fun together. See you tomorrow at the library!

💚🧪 What a SLIME-tastic Monday afternoon we had at the Parker Library! 🧪💚

Our Slime Challenge was full of laughter, creativity, and plenty of gooey fun! Participants experimented with colors, textures, and the perfect slime recipes while putting their science skills to the test.

From stretchy creations to fluffy masterpieces, everyone did an amazing job—and we may have made just a little bit of a mess along the way! 😄

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this challenge such a success. We love seeing our young creators learn, explore, and have fun together.
