5th grade had an amazing opportunity this year. They adopted two Southwest Pilots that went above and beyond the program. These pilots asked our students to write essays about what they wanted to be when they grew up. They took those essays on their flights and got feedback and notes of encouragement from passengers. They created beautiful keepsake books for the kids with their essays and the notes from the passengers. Thank you to our wonderful pilots, Herdis and Allen!

☀️🏆 KINDERGARTEN FIELD DAY IS TOMORROW! 🏆☀️

Hey Kindergarten Families! The big day is finally here, and our little athletes are ready for some fun in the sun!

Here is a quick reminder of the details so your kiddo is fully prepared for an awesome afternoon:

⏰ When: Tomorrow from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

💧 Water Bottle: Please pack a labeled, reusable water bottle. Staying hydrated is a must!

☀️ Sunscreen: Please apply sunscreen to your child before they come to school.

🩱 Swim Clothes: We will have some water activities! If your child wants to participate, please send them with a school-appropriate swimsuit and a towel.

Let's make it an unforgettable day! If you are volunteering, we will see you there. 🙌🎨🎈

Our 4th graders put their engineering skills to the test during our annual Egg Drop Challenge! 🥚🚀 Students designed creative contraptions to protect their eggs from the ultimate drop — and let’s just say there were lots of cheers, laughs, and a few cracked eggs along the way! We love seeing teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity in action. What an egg-cellent day in 4th grade! 💛👏

Last week in Mr. Jones’ class, 6th graders turned the classroom into a science lab to tackle plastic pollution! They made their own bioplastics out of corn to learn the difference between “renewable” and “non-renewable” resources.

It was a hands on way to explore how new inventions can help keep our oceans clean while supporting a growing planet.
