March: 16, 18 at 6pm-10pm; 21st and 28th at 8am-4pm.
April: 8th, 13th, 27thand 29that 6pm-10pm; 11th and 18th at 8am-5pm.

Location Parker Fire
May: 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 27 at 6pm-10pm; 9, 16, 20, at 8am-5pm.
June: 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 6pm-10pm; 13th at 8am-5pm.
Butler Burn if needed June 27th.

ATTENTION PARKER, FOXBURG, AND EMLENTON AREA RESIDENTS NEAR THE ALLEGHENY RIVER: A potentially dangerous ice jam formed in the Emlenton borough overnight and water levels have risen significantly. The water level is approaching River Ave in a couple locations.

Conditions can change rapidly with ice jam flooding. Be prepared to leave flood prone locations at a moments notice.

IF YOU HEAR A PROLONGED BLAST OF THE EMLENTON OR PARKER FIRE SIREN, THIS WILL INDICATE RAPIDLY CHANGING CONDITIONS AND TO EVACUATE AREAS NEAR THE RIVER IMMEDIATELY.

Locations endangered include...anyone adjacent to the Allegheny River, River Ave, Honeysuckle Rd, some camps and houses along North Riverview Drive.

The Parker City Volunteer Fire Department Officers and Members would like to thank all of the individuals and businesses that made donations to our organization in 2025. Whether it was a donation of money, gifts for door prizes, or the donation of your time, we appreciate the thoughts and efforts made by the community. During 2025 the Fire Department responded on 64 fire calls, 59 medicals, multiple vehicle and other assorted calls.

During 2026 we have many activities already scheduled. Some of these activities include our Spring and Fall Sportsman’s Night Events, The Turkey Party, Annual Mother’s Day, The Halloween Parade, Parker Community Days Parade, and many more good times. Please keep watching the Progress News for other events to be posted. The Parker City VFD is also pleased to be able to make the Community Hall Building available for rentals. Inquires can be made to Linda Strauser @ 724-399-2800.

Anyone interested in becoming involved with the fire department or the auxiliary should contact any members. We’re always looking for help. Thank you again for all of your support in the past and we look forward to it again in the future.
