Today the La Paz County Probation Department had the privilege of participating in the Elks Youth Day. Parker High School Seniors took on the rolls of officials in the community and participate in a mock board of supervisors meeting.

This past Saturday, our Probation Officers spent the morning at a refresher training / re-certification on CPR/AED/First-aid and on using Narcan. Thank you to La Paz County Emergency Managment for putting on this training for our Officers.

As part of the ELEVATE Youth Program, the Probation Department along with our very generous sponsors, and community partnerships were able to start a school community garden at both Wenden Elementary and Quartzsite’s EdOptions Academy.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who came out to support our litter pick-up event for Earth Day! 🌎

In just one hour, we filled (10) 40-gallon trash bags by cleaning up the empty lots next to Walmart! What an incredible impact!

We’re so grateful to Walmart Parker - W Riverside Dr for donating safety vests, water, Gatorades, and gloves to keep everyone safe and hydrated. And a big thank you to River Church for loaning us pick-up tools, your support made this possible!

It’s inspiring to see what we can accomplish together in such a short amount of time.
