Special congratulations to Jovanny Marmolejo who competed in the State Golf Tournament on Monday, May 11th and Tuesday, May 12th. Jovanny placed 60th out of 300 golfers. Jovanny is the first Parker Bronc golfer to qualify individually for the state tournament in 16 years. Great job Jovanny!!!!! Go Broncs!!!!

On May 7th, Seniors will be participating in Senior Youth Day sponsored by the Parker Elks Lodge No, 1929. This is required for all Seniors. This is an event that has been going for over 60+ years. We appreciate the Town of Parker, the Colorado River Indian Tribes, La Paz County, and various businesses for hosting our students on this day. Students will get a hands-on experience on what American Democracy is all about. Go Broncs!!!!

Beginning Monday, April 13th, the Freshman will begin their state testing. They will be taking the ACT Aspire. Once testing begins they will not be able to be removed from testing. Testing will be all day. On Tuesday, April 14th, testing will be only period 1 for all Freshman. Please make sure all Freshman are in attendance. Go Broncs!!!!

Another great Prom in the books. A special thanks to the Junior Class officers and the Junior Class Bronc Time teachers for hosting a wonderful prom. The theme was a "A Night in Paradise" and it truly was. Congratulations to Ky-Mani Flores who was crowned Prom Princess, Agustin Rangel who was crowned Prom Prince, HayDen Stallman who was crowned Prom King, and Mischa Escobar who was crowned Prom Queen. Just a reminder that today is ACT testing for our Juniors. This is required by the state of Arizona. They will be testing all morning and most of the afternoon. Once testing begins, we will not be able to dismiss students or their test will be invalidated. We encourage all students to provide their best effort on the test. Go Broncs!!!!

Yesterday we held a career fair for our Juniors and Seniors. We want to thank AZ@Work for assisting us in hosting this fair. We also want to thank all of the representatives that were able to come and take part.

Special thanks to the Airforce, Army, AeroCare, River Medical, Local 469 union, RSI refrigerant school. National Bank, Walmart, La Paz Regional Hospital, Vocational Rehabilitation, Rose Acres and UTI trade school. Thank you for presenting the opportunities that are out there for our students. Go Broncs!!!!!
