Everyone stay cool as temperatures are high this week. Stay in air-conditioning, when possible, wear loose, lightweight clothing, drink plenty of fluids, and be aware of the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke!

A heat advisory will go into effect this afternoon starting at 1 PM until 8 PM Wednesday evening. Heat index values up to are 103 expected. The high temperatures paired with oppressive humidity may cause heat-related illness. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
