Efficient. Responsible. Under the Limit. The Florida Agency for Fiscal Oversight (FAFO) utilizes a formula to determine the fiscal efficiency of local governments, using a calculation that adds inflation plus population increases over a five-year period. If a local government’s fiscal year budget comes in at or under that projected number, the DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) formula deems that the City serves its residents effectively. 🚧Broward County has shared that starting tomorrow morning, Monday, Aug. 31, there will be traffic pattern shifts on the east- and westbound lanes of Hillsboro Blvd between Parkside and U.S. 441, as part of a repave project. One lane in each direction will remain open at all times. Work will take place from 8:30 am-4 pm for several days. Expect delays and practice patience.

The antibiotics you forgot to take in 2023 do not need to become part of South Florida’s water source. Mark your calendar for 10 am - 1 pm on Oct. 3, at the Equestrian Center, 8350 Ranch Rd. B.S.O.-Parkland will shred and properly dispose of old meds and documents.
