The members of Parks Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend our deepest gratitude to WoodmenLife for giving back to their community and blessing our department with a generous donation that allowed us to purchase a battery-operated fan for our first-out engine.

This fan will be a valuable addition to our equipment and will serve several different purposes on a fire scene, helping our firefighters work more effectively and safely when our community needs us most. Equipment like this makes a tremendous difference for a volunteer fire department, and we are incredibly thankful for WoodmenLife’s generosity and support. ❤️‍🔥

We would also like to give a BIG THANK YOU to Johnny LeBlanc with MES Life Safety for taking time out of his day to come out and present the fan to our WoodmenLife representatives. Johnny took the time to demonstrate the equipment and provide a better understanding of what we do and just how much of a blessing this equipment will be to our department and our firefighters.

And of course, a very special THANK YOU to WoodmenLife for continuing to give back to the communities they serve. Community support means so much to a volunteer fire department. We are beyond grateful to have such an amazing community standing behind us. Your support allows us to continue improving, growing, and making our department better every single day. 🚒❤️

In an emergency, every second counts. One of the simplest ways to help first responders find you quickly is by making sure your house number and mailbox numbers are clearly visible from the road.

✅ Use large, easy-to-read numbers
✅ Make sure numbers are not blocked by trees, bushes, decorations, or vehicles
