Dues Policy of the Parks Volunteer Fire Department

Dues must be paid by January 31st each year. Class 9 members pay $30.00 per year. A $2.00 per month late fee will be charged on dues paid after January 31st. Dues should be mailed to the fire department at the above address or payment can be made at Community National Bank in Waldron. If a receipt of payment is needed, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your payment or a receipt can be emailed to you once payment is received.

One membership is required for the following:
1) Each Landowner
2) Each Occupied Dwelling Owned* and/or Landowner
3) Each Business Owned

*Owners of unoccupied homes or mobile homes are required to pay fire dues PRIOR to occupancy.

If only ONE due is paid by an owner of more than one occupied dwelling in our fire district, the due will be considered paid on the owner's primary residence only. New owners of property will pay half the amount of yearly dues if they purchase the property after June 30th.

Charges for Fire Assistance are as Follows:
There will be no charge to members when responding to a fire involving real or personal property. Grass fire assistance for non-member landowners will be $250.00. Landowner nonmembers will be charged $750.00 when we provide service to a structure fire. Non-resident or landowner, non-members will be charged $250.00 when we respond to any type of fire involving vehicles or equipment in our fire district.

Congratulations to our 2019 Cash Raffle Winner Norma Dawson!

Parks Volunteer Fire Department Chief Travis Evans recently presented Norma Dawson of Ozark, Arkansas a check for $300 as the winner of their recent cash raffle held on Friday, October 4, 2019. Proceeds from the raffle will be used to purchase needed supplies for the Department.

Congratulations Norma Dawson, winner of the Parks AR VFD rafle

We are currently holding a raffle for $300 cash money to support the Parks Volunteer Fire Department. Tickets are $3 each ticket or 4 tickets for $10. The drawing for the raffle will be on October 4, 2019. The winner will be notified and will need to pick up at the fire department. Tickets can be purchased from any member of the fire department. We appreciate your support!

Fire Dept business meetings are held the 1st Friday of each month and Fire Fighter training is held the 2nd Friday of each month.
