After a full week and a half of school, even our youngest learners are getting into the groove, learning their new routines, building relationships, and starting to dive into their learning journey for this school year! We love walking into classrooms and seeing students at work!

Join us for Parent Orientation Wednesday, September 9th, 5:30-7

Pick a session: 5:30-6, 6:15-6:45, or both if you have multiple students! Teachers are excited to share about their classroom expectations, this year's learning, and more!

If the session times don’t work for your family, please reach out to your classroom teacher to schedule an alt. time. We would appreciate you making childcare arrangements, as this night is designed just for parents or guardians.

This year at Angeline Washington, we are recognizing staff weekly with our Rise Award. Each week, staff members can nominate a colleague who helped us RISE by living out our mission, vision, and values. We want to continually and truly recognize and celebrate one another and everyday actions that create a strong sense of belonging, strengthen relationships among our community, support one another, and create the most amazing experiences for our students and families.

Each week, several staff members may be nominated, but only one will win the Rise Award and receive the trophy for the week. Mr. Hamblin is our first winner. He was nominated by Coach Mosh, who needed help creating decals for the gym to help organize the space, and Mrs. Hamblin jumped in with his Cricut skills and volunteered his time to help a colleague get ready for the year. Thanks, Mr. Hamblin!

We've been waiting all week for High Five Friday to be back!

We've been holding onto this one since last year, but convocation is over so let's celebrate Mrs. Shafer again for being our 25-26 Spirit Award winner!

Mrs. Shafer brings spirit with her whether we are heading into a math lesson or an assembly, we are so glad she is an Owl! Here's to another year of our Owl Spirit being contagious!
