Amazing testimony 🙌

10 years ago I was in rehab 1,000 miles away from home, watching the Cavs win a championship. I didn’t know if I’d stay sober or if I’d ever make it back home to Ohio. Fast forward to yesterday and I’m coming up on ten years sober, living back in Cleveland, and the Cavs invited me out to an ECF playoff game as part of our collaboration. The game didn’t go how we wanted it to but don’t you dare give up on your dreams. Anything is possible.

What an amazing day!

Yesterday, the men from Lucas' Place had the privilege of attending the Ryan Project Memorial Walk at the Strongsville Town Center.

Ryan's wife, Rene, shared a powerful and heartfelt message about the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health, reminding us all of the importance of compassion, understanding, and support for those who are struggling.

It was especially meaningful to have Lisa Belsito Marconi and Joe Belsito, Lucas' mom and grandpa, there as well. Seeing families, friends, and the community come together to honor loved ones and raise awareness was truly inspiring.

For the men at Lucas' Place, it was more than just a walk—it was a day of reflection, hope, healing, and connection. We are grateful to have been a part of such a special event. ❤️

🌿💪 A big part of recovery is learning responsibility, building routines, and taking pride in where you live.

Today, the guys at Lucas’ Place spent part of their day working on yard maintenance and keeping the property looking its best. House chores are an important part of our daily routine, helping build accountability, teamwork, and life skills that support long-term success.

We’re thankful for their hard work and willingness to serve one another. Great job, guys! 👏🌱
