IMPORTANT SCHOOL PROCEDURES AND EXPECTATIONS

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope your family is having a great start to the school year! We wanted to share a few quick reminders that will help us keep our school safe, organized, and running smoothly each day.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We appreciate everything our families do to help us create a safe, positive, and successful school environment for all of our students.

🏫 A QUICK NOTE TO OUR PAROWAN COMMUNITY 💙💛

We know this is a small town. We know many of you personally, and we truly appreciate the support our community gives Parowan High School. ❤️

That’s exactly why we want to give everyone a heads-up about a change you’ll notice when visiting our school.

Please come prepared with your photo ID. 🪪

For the safety of our students and staff, THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO ENTRY INTO THE SCHOOL WITHOUT A VALID PHOTO ID — NO EXCEPTIONS.

We understand this may feel a little different here in our small community, but we have to be consistent for everyone. In following the State of Utah's School Safety Amendments, we are committed to always improving our safety measures and doing everything we can to keep our school safe.

🪪 ONE MORE IMPORTANT HEADS-UP:
Everyone will be required to show a photo ID to enter any event held on campus during school hours.

This includes things such as:
• Assemblies
• Veterans Day events
• Thanksgiving Dinner
• Parowan’s Birthday celebration
• Other events held during the school day

We don't want anyone to arrive and be surprised or have to turn around, so please just come prepared with your ID.

We know this is an extra step, and we appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work to keep our kids, our staff, and our school safe. 💙💛

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This is an Endowment Game, which means EVERYONE PAYS ADMISSION. Regular passes are NOT valid, with the exception of UHSAA passes.

Meet Amy Wilkey, our new Dean of Students and Instructional Coach! 🎉

After a brief time at the district office, Amy realized just how much Parowan High School means to her — and we're thrilled to welcome her back! She brings so much love and respect for our students, staff, and community, and can't wait to support our teachers, celebrate successes, and help our students thrive.
