This morning firefighters took the time to pull off E14-4’s supply hose bed and repack it to perfection!

Please refrain from burning without the understanding of how it works…
Today we responded to a burn someone was conducting that ended up getting too big for what they were prepared for and melting the siding off the new home.

This could have been very bad without the quick response of Parrottsville VFD!

Parrottsville VFD was paged to a working residential house fire. Engine 14-4 was immediately enroute and arrived on scene at 10:54 to find a single story home completely engulfed with fire throughout . E14-4 was able to catch a hydrant and lay line in bringing its own water supply.
Thank you for assistance from other agencies.

She has been located. Sheriff Deputies in Greene County are with her now.
She is alive, well, and safe.
