A look back at a musical morning at the Parsippany Library!🎶✨

Families joined us for a fun-filled mini concert earlier this month with Lakeland Youth Symphony. They introduced little ones to the magic of music through lively performances, hands-on discovery, and plenty of smiles. After the concert, children explored our interactive “instrument petting zoo,” where they got to see, touch, and even try playing a variety of instruments themselves!🎻🥁🎺

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this musical morning so special. We loved seeing so many young musicians-in-the-making!

Join Beyond The Green for a live podcast recording featuring Melanie Bump, Curator of Collections & Exhibits for the Historic Sites of the Morris County Park Commission as they explore the secrets of early American cookbooks and the surprising stories they reveal about 18th- and 19th-century everyday life. Audience members will get a behind-the-scenes look at the recording process and have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A.

🧩What a night! Earlier this month, teams put their puzzle-solving skills to the test during our Amazing Puzzle Race at the Main Library. From speedy sorters to master edge-piece finders, everyone brought their A-game!👏

Participants worked together to complete 500-piece puzzles in 90 minutes or less, competing for prizes and plenty of bragging rights along the way. Whether they came with friends or joined solo, it was a fun-filled evening of teamwork, laughter, and a little friendly competition.✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this puzzling good time. We loved seeing the library filled with collaboration and community spirit!🧩🤗

Back in April, we celebrated World Book Day with Reading Rhythms at Parsippany Library for a cozy evening centered around books, creativity, and community.📚✨

Guests spent the night enjoying silent reading sessions, crafting, thoughtful conversations, and connecting with fellow book lovers over the stories they’re currently reading.

It was such a fun and welcoming night, and a wonderful reminder that reading doesn’t always have to be a solo activity. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event so special!🤎
