In our three years we have put our hands on books thousands of times! ❤️

We've had the pleasure of sharing our generous donations with other free libraries and have passed on hundreds throughout Maryland and even into West Virginia.

We see a lot of books "checked out and returned" which is great to keep the selection flowing BUT (fun fact!) there are over 700 titles actively "borrowed or adopted" by readers that once passed through our hands. ❤️

In three years, to think of that many books having mixed into the hands of others is pretty crazy. I actually couldn't have imagined.

It's been a long time since we posted here! Sharing posts on social media created so much havoc with random people stopping by and just emptying the library that at times we had to leave it empty or sparse to discourage such rudeness. Literally people would come by within the hour of a post and take sometimes the ENTIRE library stock. Craziness. Things have calmed down for several months now & I'm testing the waters to post again! :) Almost 3 years later, we are still here and going strong! ❤️

With tons of happiness, I'm happy to say our original Little free library is back in place! Stocked with red, white & blue spined books along with other holiday themed books for the weekend ❤🤍💙🇺🇸🎆🎇 A special thank you to Caring Cupboard LLC for the loan of one of their little free pantries that they offered us for a temporary replacement when ours was damaged. 🥰
