On June 16, 2026, Deputies in the Hobby District were on proactive patrolling in the 8200 block of Broadway St when they noticed a female and a child continuously looking towards a certain direction.

Deputies were then flagged down by the female who pointed in the direction of a male. Deputies then observed a male committing a lude act. Deputies quickly detained the male who was identified as Buhagiar, Charles a 54-year-old male.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted, and Felony Charges were accepted for Indecency with a Child by Exposure.

Buhagiar, Charles was taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Jail, where they were booked on the felony charge of Indecency with a Child by Exposure.

Deputies were actively patrolling the 8100 block of Easthaven Blvd, an area known for high criminal activity, including drug trafficking and prostitution.

During the patrol, deputies observed a male identified as Joseph Morris (36), who was known to have an active warrant out of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for Assault – Bodily Injury. Morris was detained without incident.

Upon further investigation, Morris was found to be in possession of a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine. The District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance (PCS).

🚔 DWI ARREST | UNLAWFULLY CARRYING A WEAPON 🚔



On June 13, 2026, Harris County Constable Precinct 2 Toll Road Deputies were actively patrolling the South Sam Houston Tollway East when they observed a vehicle weaving between marked lanes, failing to signal lane changes, and straddling multiple lanes of traffic.



A traffic stop was conducted, and upon making contact with the driver, deputies observed signs of impairment and detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. The driver admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages prior to operating the vehicle.



A DWI investigation was conducted, which included Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Based on the totality of the investigation, deputies determined the driver had lost the normal use of his mental and physical faculties and was unable to safely operate a motor vehicle on a public roadway. During an inventory of the vehicle, deputies located a handgun inside the vehicle.



The driver was identified as 53-year-old Mai, Tai and was transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center, where a blood specimen was obtained as part of the investigation. The Harris County District Attorney's Office reviewed the facts of the case and accepted charges for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon. Mai was booked into the Harris County Jail without incident.

Night Shift Deputies observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation in the 8300 block of Broadway St. and conducted a traffic stop. During the investigation, the driver, Paul Garza (57), was found to have an active felony larceny warrant issued by the Pearland Police Department.

The warrant was confirmed, and Garza was taken into custody without incident. He was subsequently transported and released into the custody of the Pearland Police Department.

Night shift deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 7900 block of the Gulf Freeway after observing a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations while leaving an area known for narcotics activity.

Upon contact, the driver was identified as Konstantinos Angelakos, 62. During the investigation, deputies observed Angelakos making furtive movements toward his pockets in an apparent attempt to conceal contraband. He was detained, and a subsequent search revealed he was in possession of crack co***ne.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Angelakos was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail.
