🚔 Theft Suspect Arrested After Deputies Recover Stolen Merchandise

On August 31, 2026, deputies responded to 8219 Broadway Street, Houston, Texas, in reference to a theft call.

Upon arrival, deputies observed a male matching the description of the suspect and detained him. The male was still in possession of the merchandise reported stolen from the business.

Deputies identified the suspect as 40-year-old Jabari Mike and transported him back to the location. The complainant advised deputies that Mike had left the store without providing payment for the merchandise.

Deputies contacted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and presented the facts of the case. The District Attorney’s Office accepted Theft charges against Mike.

Mike was placed into custody and transported to the Joint Processing Center, where he was booked on the theft charge.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

🚔 DWI Arrest Following Major Accident

On August 31, 2026, deputies responded to the 11000 block of Scarsdale Boulevard in reference to a two-vehicle major accident.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that a male driver was entrapped inside his vehicle. Fire and EMS crews responded and successfully extricated the driver, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Deputies contacted the female driver, who displayed multiple signs of intoxication. Deputies administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs), and the driver refused to provide a breath or blood specimen.

The driver was identified as 40-year-old Yesica Coronado-Castro. Coronado-Castro was taken into custody and transported to the Joint Processing Center. A blood search warrant was obtained, and a blood specimen was collected for testing.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted a charge of 2nd Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Over the past month, Constable Jerry Garcia’s Special Operations Unit proudly partnered with the United States Marshals Service in Operation Washout – Texas Tide.

During this operation, our deputies worked alongside 16 local and federal law enforcement agencies with one primary goal: removing violent offenders from our streets and making our communities safer.

Through this collaborative effort, we are proud to report 465 arrests and 595 warrants cleared across Galveston, Brazoria, Chambers, and Harris Counties.

It was a privilege for the Harris County Constable Precinct 2 Office to be part of this important operation. We are grateful for the dedication and commitment of every agency and deputy who contributed to its success.

Constable Garcia and the Harris County Constable Precinct 2 Office look forward to continuing these strong partnerships and working together to keep our communities safe.

🚨 RESTAURANT DISTURBANCE LEADS TO DRUG ARREST 🚨

🍽️ Precinct 2 deputies responded to a local restaurant after receiving a report of a male entering the business and consuming food without permission.
The restaurant manager asked the male to leave, and he exited the business without paying for the food he had consumed.

👮‍♂️ A deputy located the male a short distance away and detained him for further investigation. During the investigation, the deputy located a suspected controlled substance, which was identified as suspected crack co***ne.
⚖️ The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

🚔 Great work by our Precinct 2 deputy for quickly responding, locating the suspect, and helping keep our local businesses and community safe!

On 08/31/2026 at approximately 0120 hours, deputies received a call regarding a vehicle that was reportedly being followed by an individual suspected of driving while intoxicated. Deputies responded to the area, located the vehicle, and initiated a traffic stop.

Upon making contact with the driver, deputies observed multiple indicators of intoxication. Deputies conducted a DWI investigation, during which a breath sample was obtained. The results indicated the driver’s alcohol concentration was nearly twice the legal limit.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted a charge of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).

Deputies were dispatched in reference to a suspicious male who was known to frequently leave the location with unpaid merchandise. Upon arrival, deputies attempted to make contact with and detain the male. The male resisted, resulting in a physical struggle with deputies before he fled on foot.

Deputies pursued the male for approximately one-quarter mile before catching up to him and taking him into custody. Deputies contacted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, which accepted charges of Evading on Foot. The male was also booked into custody on an active warrant.
