Comments or posts made by users to any social media page under the control of the City of Pasadena will be monitored and while they will not be removed based on their opinion or viewpoint, the City reserves the right to remove comments that include:
1. Comments unrelated to the purpose and topical scope of the page and/or original post
2. Sexual content or links to sexual content
4. Personal identifying information or sensitive personal information
5. Speech presenting a grave and imminent threat
7. Fighting words
8. True threats
9. Fraud
10. Defamation (libel/slander)
11. Solicitations to commit, or speech integral to, criminal conduct
12. Information that could reasonably compromise public safety
13. Promotion or advertisement in favor of, or in opposition to a political campaign or,
political candidate, political organization or ballot proposition
14. Apparent spam
15. Content posted by automatic software programs (i.e., โbotsโ)

16. Information which may interfere or compromise current investigations, police tactics and the safety of police staff and officers
17. Copyrighted material (if posted without the copyright holderโs consent)

The City may take steps to remove a comment if it falls within one of the foregoing categories. By posting or commenting you agree to these terms of use. As a function of the Pasadena Public Health Department, preventing the spread of disease is our number one mission. But we strive to achieve so much more. Our goal is to ensure that every pet we encounter stays in--or finds-- a loving home. Educating pet owners and potential pet owners ensures that loving home lasts for the lifetime of the cat or dog. Being a pet owner is a serious responsibility. Pet owners need to provide regular veterinary care, shelter, opportunities for exercise, quality food, mental stimulation, routine vaccinations, training, city licenses, and more.
