Public Funeral services for Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy Fernando Esqueda are as follows:

A Viewing is being held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd., Houston, Texas 77003, with a rosary held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1111 St. Joseph Pkwy., Houston, Texas 77002.

Full honors will follow after the service.

Community members are welcome to attend and also encouraged to line the procession route to show their support.

Details of Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy Fernando Esqueda’s public funeral services:

A viewing will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd. A rosary will occur from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A funeral mass will occur Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1111 St. Joseph Pkwy.

It is a difficult time when a member of our honor guard experiences the loss of their fiancée due to a senseless act of violence. Your presence and support at the funeral would be greatly appreciated. Let us come together as a team to show our respect with a large honor guard presence. Further details will be provided when the Harris County Sheriff Department releases it.
