It is with deep sadness that Riviera Beach Vol. Fire Company announces the passing of Retired Engineman Steve Ambrozewicz. Steve began his fire service journey in 1977 as a volunteer member of the Riviera Beach Volunteer Fire Company, Station 13. He was hired as a career member of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department on August 6, 1987, Recruit Class 24.

Steve began his career assignment at Station 40, later serving at Stations 20 and 10, before being assigned to Orchard Beach Volunteer Company, Station 11, where he spent the majority of his career. He retired from the Department in October 2020 after more than 33 years of service.

Steve will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

To our surrounding neighbors, we will have some members going door to door regarding carnival and advanced ride tickets. They are indeed our members, if you have any questions, they will be in our t-shirt and have ID with them. Please do not hesitate to aak them for ID if you need.

With the impending severe weather and high winds predicted for tomorrow, Sunday, August 16th, 2026; we have made the decision to reschedule the pit beef/vendor fair to Sunday, September 20th, 2026! Safety is our primary concern and do not want anyone getting injured. Be sure to stop by on September 20th because the Kid's market will be back as well!! Can't wait to see everyone!
