🎃🧡🖤 Congratulations to RMA's October Employee of the Month, Rikki Wheeler! 🖤🧡🎃

Rikki serves as a SPED Associate Teacher at RMA Amarillo, where she has spent nearly four years making a difference in the lives of students and staff.

Her coworkers describe her as someone students naturally gravitate toward, knowing they can count on her for guidance, encouragement, and support. Whether she is helping students overcome challenges, stepping in to support her colleagues, or going beyond her regular responsibilities, Rikki consistently puts the needs of others first.

Recently, Rikki demonstrated extraordinary composure and quick thinking when she stepped in to provide lifesaving assistance during a student medical emergency. Her actions are just one example of the dedication and compassion her colleagues see in her every day.

Our students got an up-close look at the 12 Stones Roofing & Construction Cybertruck today—and they definitely brought a little extra energy to RMA Pasadena!

Experiences like this are what make Future Focus Friday special. Yes, the lights and Cybertruck get their attention—but the real purpose is creating opportunities for our students to meet local professionals, learn about different industries, ask questions, and begin imagining what their own futures can look like.

What a GREAT Future Focus Friday at RMA Pasadena! 💼💜💚

Today, our students had the opportunity to connect directly with three of our Pasadena Chamber partners—12 Stones Roofing & Construction, Fibrenew, and Shared Resources Credit Union!

This is exactly what Future Focus Friday is about: bringing the real world directly to our students. Our young people were able to ask questions, explore different industries, learn about career pathways, and make connections with professionals from right here in our community.

And 12 Stones definitely knew how to get our students’ attention with that Cybertruck! 👀🔥

A HUGE THANK YOU to all three of our Chamber partners for taking time to invest in our students today. Partnerships like these help us connect education to opportunity and expose our students to possibilities beyond the classroom.

RMA Pasadena was proud to participate in today’s Discover Your Future Fall Job Fair! What a great opportunity to connect with local employers, workforce partners, and community organizations committed to helping our young people explore career pathways and employment opportunities.

A BIG THANK YOU to the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce for organizing this event and to Jackson Intermediate School for hosting and providing a welcoming space for our community to come together!

We also appreciate every employer, community partner, and job seeker who stopped by the RMA Pasadena booth to learn more about our flexible high school programs and Career Readiness & Employment Initiative.

Our mission goes beyond helping students earn their diplomas. We are committed to preparing them for what comes NEXT—whether that means college, career training, an internship, a co-op opportunity, or employment.
