Sunlight is an inexhaustible resource. Its energy is key to reducing carbon emissions, decreasing waste, and lessening CO2 emissions. These goals are essential to mitigating the worst effects of climate change.
The discovery of new catalysts that can convert sunlight into desired chemical feedstocks is one of the key hurdles researchers face. In this lecture, Bren Professor of Chemistry Jonas Peters, who also leads the Resnick Sustainability Institute (RSI), will explain how and where he and his colleagues are looking for those crucial parts of the puzzle.
RSVP to attend the 4/21 lecture, which will conclude with a live Q&A for attendees: https://caltech.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_akseRftYQH2YzsJA41tE9Q
