A big shoutout to all our students, parents, and staff who joined us for a fantastic morning walk! 🌞 It was wonderful to see everyone practicing safe routes together.

Here are a few tips to keep those walks safe and fun:

Today we'd like to recognize and celebrate our three amazing Instructional Coaches for the impact they make each and every day at De Zavala Middle School!

While many people see the support they provide in classrooms, there is so much work happening behind the scenes that often goes unnoticed. Our coaches spend countless hours planning with teachers, analyzing data, supporting instruction, creating resources, modeling lessons, coordinating interventions, and helping ensure every student has the opportunity to be successful.

Their dedication to both teachers and students helps strengthen learning across our campus. Whether they're coaching a teacher, encouraging a student, solving a problem, or stepping in wherever needed, they consistently demonstrate what it means to put students first.

A HUGE congratulations to Laura, who absolutely CRUSHED the 5th grade girls record to earn 1st place! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘
