Our friends and neighbors to our west summed this up perfectly so we’d like to echo their statement. Please take precautions with the freezing weather ahead! Additionally, always use heating appliances according to manufacturer’s guidelines, avoid using extension cords with portable heaters, and make sure you have a working carbon monoxide detector if you have gas appliances in your home.
