The lives of 12 Jackson County children will never be the same again. They are all now members of several loving families, thanks to a mass adoption held Monday morning in chancery court. The children now embark on new lives filled with new possibilities.

"We have a waiting list of 551 children that are in custody right now, and out of those, we are serving 118,"

CASA volunteers have made a WORLD of difference in the lives of many abused and neglected children nationwide; however, more help is needed as there are more children in custody than volunteers! If you would like to become an advocate, send me a message! The children need someone like you to advocate for them!

On Monday, Jackson County's CASA program will begin training another round of volunteers to advocate for neglected and abused kids in the foster care system. The problem is the organization doesn't have enough people signed up to help.
