So today was "Bring Your Pet to Work Day." Tee's eight-month-old pitbull terrier, Cinnamon Marie McCovey was our honored guest. She went straight to Tee's computer and wanted to know how the campaign was going. This is not A.I. content. She's a mess. And yes that's her purse in the photo.

We want to give a special shout-out to Sa'Shai Bright, Nathaly Gonzaga, and the Pascagoula High School ROTC for organizing their "Aluminum Can Drive" in support of our United Way Campaign. Thank you for your incredible support and dedication to our community.

Tee challenged the ladies to a quick 5k run. The young ladies have been back for twenty minutes. If anyone in the community sees Tee, please return him to the United Way office at 3510 Magnolia St.

Please see the details below regarding a flyer from Our Daily Bread Food Pantry. The need for food in our community has increased significantly. For over 44 years, Our Daily Bread has been dedicated to feeding the hungry, they have helped over 600 families in the last month since rebranding as a food pantry. CASA of Southeast Mississippi, a member agency of United Way for Jackson, George & Greene Counties, is hosting an ONLINE Pampered Chef Fundraiser, and orders are being accepted NOW through August 15th! The best part? A portion of the profits will be donated back to CASA of Southeast Mississippi! See attachment for more details!

Tomorrow, we officially launch the 2026 United Way for Jackson, George & Greene Counties Campaign! The campaign theme this year is "Red, White & Blue. United With You." We have a bold goal of raising $2 million dollars to put back into our communities. Our campaign is about hope, opportunity, and the power of people helping people.
