Join the Walter Anderson Museum of Art, The Traveler at WAMA, Ocean Springs Municipal Library, and the The Springs Hotel on Thursday, July 2nd (6-8pm), as we unite to honor America’s historic 250th anniversary. We are serving FREE hamburgers and hot dogs straight off the grill to fuel our collective celebration. The evening will be filled with the sounds of music and free arts and crafts perfect for the whole family. We will also witness a historic moment as Boy Scout Troop 249 buries a special time capsule in the library's community garden, preserving our local memories for future generations. 🛣️ 🛣️ ROAD REOPENING NOTICE 🛣️ 🛣️

Good news!!!

Beachview Drive is scheduled to reopen to traffic today at approximately 6:00 p.m. following the successful completion of roadway improvements.

We appreciate the patience, understanding, and cooperation shown by residents, motorists, and nearby businesses throughout this project.

Temporary inconveniences are never easy, but these improvements help ensure a safer, more reliable roadway for everyone who travels this area.

This reopening marks another completed infrastructure project and reflects Jackson County's continued commitment to investing in roads, transportation, and the long-term needs of our communities.

We look forward to welcoming traffic back to the roadway this evening.
