FCSO SPOTLIGHT - Meet the Team: Deputy Kendra Wisner

Deputy Kendra Wisner first joined the Franklin County Sheriff's Office in March of 2020 as a corrections deputy, and was then hired as a patrol deputy in May that same year. She is a second-generation law enforcement officer, following after her mother who served in law enforcement for 29 years on the west side of the state.

In addition to her regular patrol duties, Kendra became an advisor with the FCSO Explorer Program in 2021, a program that helps local youth become more informed about law enforcement operations by providing in-depth learning experiences through both classroom and scenario-based exercises. She was awarded Deputy of the Quarter in 2023.

Kendra's educational background includes an AA degree and a bachelor's degree in Professional and Creative Writing, which she often utilizes to help effectively communicate informational posts with the public through the sheriff's office's social media pages.
