The Washington State Mathematics Learning Standards (WA Math 2025) are here!

Join us via Zoom on June 9th from 4:00–5:30 PM to explore the initially adopted WA Math 2025 standards through a 6–12 lens.

In this interactive session, participants will explore what has changed, what remains familiar, and how the updated standards impact instruction and student learning across middle and high school mathematics. Through guided activities and discussion, we will examine how the new standards are organized and how they support coherence, reasoning, and sense-making across courses and grade bands.

We're proud to announce the opening the new wood shop at TC Futures!

Building Skills, Confidence, and Electric Guitars!

TC Futures is excited to introduce our new Wood Shop program, where students are putting creativity and craftsmanship to work through their very first project - building their own electric guitars!

Students participating in the program are learning valuable woodworking skills while creating a custom instrument they can take pride in and use for years to come. Some students already know how to play guitar, while others are simply excited to learn something new and work with their hands.

Beyond building guitars, students are developing academic skills, workplace readiness, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and perseverance. This hands-on learning experience helps students explore career pathways while creating something truly unique and meaningful.

We can't wait to see these guitars come to life and watch our students continue to grow through this exciting new opportunity at TC Futures!
