The Esvelt Gallery is honored to present Mythic Revisions, an exhibition by Crista Ann Ames. Mythic Revisions, an exhibition by Washington artist Crista Ann Ames, questions familiar feminine tropes in art and art history. Raised on a small subsistence farm in Kennewick, her work draws from personal experiences with pastoral life, animal husbandry, women’s craft, and fertility.

The exhibition runs from March 9 – April 23, 2026, with an artist demo on March 18 from 1:00-3:00pm in P101 and a reception to follow at 3:00pm in the Esvelt Gallery.

The Gallery & Art Department presents the paintings of Thomas Lopez currently showing in the CBC Library. His work will be exhibited through Hispanic Heritage month, and up unto the end of the quarter.

Thomas Lopez, or Curses as he prefers to be called, focuses on the world of neurodiversity by exploring different media, realities, stories, and emotions within his work. He hopes that the art he makes helps you read something within yourself, to reflect a mirror of our innermost thoughts and dreams.

His current body of work exhibited in the library combines both literature and art through the expressive use of mixed media.

"As we embark on this artistic voyage together, I invite you to join me in celebrating the infinite diversity of human expression. Let us explore the cosmos of creativity, where every stroke, every word and every thought is a testament to the boundless nature of our shared existence." Curses (Thomas Lopez)
