We’d like to wish Battalion Chief / Paramedic Brenda Rodgers of Richland Fire a happy and healthy retirement!
Chief Rodgers is retiring after 34 years of dedicated service. Most of us had the pleasure of working closely with Chief Rodgers during joint trainings and during many of the complex operational incidents she commanded.
Thanks for paving the way and leaving our fire service better than you found it!
Happy retirement Chief!
🚨 Retirement Alert 🚨
Yesterday marked the end of an incredible chapter, as Battalion Chief Brenda Rodgers completed her final shift after 34 years of distinguished service with Richland Fire & Emergency Services.
A true trailblazer, Brenda made history as the department’s first female firefighter, breaking barriers and setting the standard for those who followed. Through every step of her journey to Battalion Chief, she led with strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication, leaving a legacy that will continue to shape this department and the fire service for years to come.
Brenda, your impact goes far beyond the calls you answered or the ranks you achieved. It lives on in the people you mentored, the paths you opened, and the example you set every single day.
