roner in Franklin County, and Karen Blasdel, a long-time employee at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) who has served on multiple community boards. A proud graduate of Pasco High School (Class of 1996), Melissa attended Columbia Basin College, earning a degree in Business Administration. She currently serves as the General Manager of My Place Hotel-Pasco, with over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Through her work with My Place Hotels, Melissa has traveled extensively across the Pacific Northwest, playing a key role in the opening of new hotels and improving operations throughout the region. Beyond her professional career, Melissa is passionate about giving back to her community. She serves on several boards, including Visit Tri-Cities, the Pasco Facilities District, the Hapo Advisory Committee, and Water Follies. She is a staunch advocate for hospitality and tourism, economic development, Downtown Pasco revitalization, and public safety. Melissa’s leadership is driven by her commitment to creating positive change in Pasco, enhancing economic opportunities, and ensuring a high quality of life for its residents. With a deep personal and professional investment in Pasco, she is working tirelessly to address the challenges and opportunities facing the city, while keeping its vibrant future in focus.
