Heritage Ranch Community Services District The purpose and mission of HRCSD is to provide municipal services to the village of Heritage Ranch.

These services include the supply of drinking water and the disposal of wastewater.

It has been brought to our attention; many customers have received an email from [email protected] with the subject: Utility Billing Payment Reminder. Please rest assured, this is not a scam. This email was generated through our billing software, however, was in error. We have been working with our software company to figure out why these emails were generated within our system. The “Pay Now” button will not allow you to make a payment. You will still receive a paper bill in the mail as normal. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Disinfection Byproducts - The 1st quarter samples were taken for THM & HAA5 on 1/21/11. The new samples were within the maximum contaminate level (MCL) for both constituents and brought the annual running average below the MCL for HAA5. We are now in compliance with the MCL for HAA5 with a running annual average of 55 ug/l.

We have successfully completed two Lawn Conversion Program Rebates! The District encourages customers to participate in Water Conservation by reducing the amount of lawn area in their landscapes. Most customer’s use between 50-60% of their water outside. The District provides up to $0.50/SF rebate with a max. of $500. The project must be approved in advance by the District. Contact the District for more details.

San Miguel Garbage collects Christmas Trees on your normal pick up days beginning the Monday after Christmas through the second week of January. Please remove stands and decorations and place the trees next to your regular trash containers. If you would like further information, please call (805) 467-9283.

Clean Up Day has arrived! On Monday, December 6th customers may put out one extra 35 gallon can of trash with their regular trash at no additional cost to them. If you have any questions, please contact San Miguel Garbage Company at (805) 467-9283.

We will be flushing the water system for water quality requirements beginning Oct. 14th - 21st. Flushing the system could cause some dirty water in homes, we recommend running an outside hose bib to flush your lines.

Lawn Conversion Pilot Program has arrived!! This program offers cash rebates to residential customers in return for reducing the amount of lawn area in their landscapes, & substituting drought-tolerant plants and/or hardscape. We will provide up to $0.50/SF rebate with a max. of $500. The conversion project must be approved in advance by the District. Contact the District office for more details.

Water conservation is the best way to reduce your water bill. Most water customer’s use between 50% and 60% of their water outside of the home. Converting to native landscapes and drought tolerant plants will reduce the water bill for most customers. Rebates for converting indoor plumbing fixtures to low flow fixtures are still available at the CSD office.
