City buildings will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. The annual celebration of workers in America began in the late 19th century, becoming a federal holiday in 1894 -- five years after the City of El Paso de Robles was incorporated.

The holiday closure includes the City Hall and Library, Senior Center, and Public Safety Center lobby.
