We were seeing spots at Uptown Family Park on Saturday! 🐞
Families joined us for Paso Play in the Garden: Spots & Sprouts, where our littlest nature lovers painted ladybug rocks for their gardens, built cozy ladybug houses, discovered the fascinating life cycle of these tiny garden helpers and wrapped up the morning by releasing live ladybugs into the Uptown Family Park garden! Thank you to everyone who came out to play, learn and grow with us. We loved watching the garden come alive with curious kids—and lots and lots of ladybugs. 🌱
Next up: we’re getting Batty About Bats! 🦇
Join us Saturday, October 24, for our next free Paso Play in the Garden adventure. We’ll discover why these high-flying helpers are so important to our environment and have plenty of bat-themed fun along the way.

New Fundamentals Class starting 8/18 at Parks & Rec in Paso Robles. April Herrera Anderson will be leading a 6 week fundamentals of Krav Maga class at Centennial Park in Paso Robles. This class is geared towards women’s self defense with signups being through the Paso Robles Recreation

What if an act of kindness could inspire generations?
Arthur Ludwick knows it can. After growing up in Paso Robles in the 1950s, Arthur never forgot the people who invested in him. More than 70 years later, he and his wife Sarah gave back by donating the Paso Play on Wheels van and seed funding to help bring free play, recreation, and connection to neighborhoods throughout our community. His story isn't just about a van—it's about gratitude, community, and the extraordinary impact of investing in others.

We're bringing FREE pop-up and play adventures to two fun-filled locations this week!
• Tuesday, July 28 | 4 to 5:30 PM
Pop Up & Play near the playground at Sunrise Villas (1600 Fontana Rd.)
• Wednesday, July 29 | 1 to 2 PM
Super Squirrel is joining forces with the City Library for a superhero obstacle course during the Summer Reading Comic Con program at Oak Park (901 30th & Pine St.)
