PRHS SkillsUSA
SkillsUSA is a showcase of Career Technical Education. The SkillsUSA Championships recognizes career and technical students who excel in their occupational skills, as well as the leadership development activities in the classroom and conferences. Involvement of the teachers and industrial community is essential to the SkillsUSA organization. Leadership, health occupations, trade, i
ndustrial and technical experts donate their time, energy and finances to assist our students to become the next generation of skilled workers. Many of the Advisors will train, encourage and motivate students into career paths. The involvement by these leaders provides opportunities for the student and employer to meet and share their needs. Showcasing their skills provides students motivation to show pride in their work and future employers opportunity to observe dedicated and motivated students at work. SkillsUSA is the bridge between high school and the “world of work”. Continual communication between future employees and employers will strengthen the link from high school to college / technical schools and the workplace. SkillsUSA is the organization that makes you a “Champion at Work”. About SkillsUSA
