As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day weekend, let us remember the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Memorial Day is a day to honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy today, and we must never forget them.

Please take a moment to reflect and honor those who never made it home.

The Cecil R. Ruddock Memorial VFW Post 5931 will host a Memorial Day Ceremony at 10:00 AM at War Memorial Park on Fleitas Avenue. We invite the community to join us in paying tribute to our fallen heroes.

Pass Christian has a lot moving forward, and many of these projects are the result of careful planning, responsible spending, and strong use of grants and outside funding.

From harbor improvements and hurricane mitigation to road paving, sewer upgrades, public safety facilities, playground improvements, recreation projects, and support for our schools, the City is continuing to invest in long-term improvements that benefit the whole community.

Many of these projects address infrastructure that has served Pass Christian for decades, some dating back to the 1950s and 1960s. Instead of waiting for the next storm or emergency to force repairs, the City is working now to improve, strengthen, and prepare for the future.

Want to get a permit for a bonfire at one of our fire pits on the 26 miles of sand beach in Harrison County? Here's what you need to know!
We have more than 20 bonfire pits along the beach in Harrison County which can be reserved. The permit costs $25.00 (non-refundable).
