A diverse local group dedicated to making our Members of Congress (MoCs,) namely, Lee Zeldin (R-NY1) in the 1st Congressional District of NY, aware of our opposition to the current administrations racist, authoritarianism, and corrupt, agenda. ent administration and the hateful party now in control of all three branches of government. Donald Trump is embarrassing himself, and our country, on a daily basis. His childish behavior on Twitter shows him to be an immature, thin-skinned, narcissistic, ignorant, racist, authoritarian, who hates, lies, and is incapable of leading this country. This group is looking to create a Diverse Group that will constantly monitor, contact, and make Lee Zeldin, the Representative of the 1st Congressional District of NY aware that he has many constituents that reject Trump's agenda. Trumps agenda explicitly targets immigrants, Muslims, people of color, LGBTQ people, the poor and working class, and women. It is critical that our resistance group reflect and center the voices of those who are most directly threatened by the Trump agenda. Diverse Group Needed

In addition to the administrative roles we need people willing to attend events, record events, engage on social media, write op-eds for local papers, etc. Our Mission Statement:

The current administration and elected officials will take America backwards and MUST BE STOPPED! Any elected officials that don’t represent us properly MUST BE STOPPED!
To work together to achieve this goal we must model the values of inclusion, tolerance, and fairness.
Whenever one of our representatives acts, whether sponsoring, or co-sponsoring a bill, makes a speech, votes on legislation, etc., that doesn’t consider our concerns, it must be told, loudly, and to ALL constituents to bring awareness. Our Goals
The ultimate goal is to apply pressure to our MoC to stop racism, hate, inequality, authoritarianism, corruption, and all that is bad within our political world today
Primary and/or unseat Moc’s and Senators as well as local politicians that are supporting the racist, authoritarian, and corrupt agenda
