American Legion Auxiliary Patchogue Unit 269 American Legion Auxiliary Unit 269, Patchogue NY. The American Legion Auxiliary is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit Patriotic Veterans organization.

In the spirit of Service, Not Self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.

It is my sad duty to report that William Schlosser, WW2 Veteran and member of Post 269, passed away on Thursday November 4th.

The American Legion service will be held at 7:30 PM on Tuesday November 9th at Robertaccio Funeral Home in Patchogue.

Bill served in the US Army and was in the 3rd Wave at Normandy on D-Day.

Visitation is from 6 PM to 9 PM on that day.
