This milestone belongs to everyone who has believed in the Center, supported our mission, and helped keep this legacy alive.

The celebration continues as we prepare for our official 50th Anniversary Gala on October 16, 2026, and we invite you to continue standing with us as we carry this mission into its next chapter.

Today marks a historic milestone for the Hispanic Multi-Purpose Service Center.

On May 7, 1976, our organization was officially incorporated, beginning a legacy of service, dignity, and community that continues to shine 50 years later.

Founded through the vision and dedication of María Magda O’Keefe, the Hispanic Center became more than an organization. It became a place of hope, support, and connection for generations of families in Paterson and beyond.

As we prepare for our official 50th Anniversary Gala on October 16, 2026, we could not let this meaningful day pass without honoring the date that started it all.

In honor of our 50th anniversary, we are asking 50 people to make a donation today to support the Center’s next chapter.

Every gift, no matter the amount, helps us continue the mission María Magda O’Keefe helped bring to life and ensures that the Center remains strong for the community we serve.

This Three Kings Day, we celebrate more than a tradition. We celebrate community, generosity, and hope.

We are deeply grateful to Oasis - A Haven for Women and Children for their generous donation of gifts, which will bring joy, warmth, and dignity to the children and families we serve. Gestures like this remind us that when community comes together, meaningful impact is possible.

Academic communities play a meaningful role in creating positive change 🎁

We are deeply grateful to the Montclair State University Sonny Angel Club, whose academic community organized bake sales throughout the semester to raise funds for the purchase and donation of goods for the community we serve.

Through this collective effort, generosity was transformed into direct support for individuals and families, demonstrating how small actions can create a lasting impact when guided by purpose and care.

Thank you for your commitment to service and for choosing to support our community in such a thoughtful way.

Community care means showing up when it matters most ✨

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Ludovino Batista Foundation, and to Ms. Batista, for their generous donation of two boxes of winter coats to support the individuals and families we serve.

As temperatures drop, access to warm clothing becomes critical for health, safety, and dignity. Donations like this help ensure that our community stays protected during the winter months and reminds us that compassion can truly change lives.

Thank you for helping us keep our community warm and cared for this season.

Community support makes a real difference 🤍

We are deeply grateful to Ms. Patch and the Memorial School community in Fair Lawn for their generous donation of 49 pairs of socks to support the individuals and families we serve.

During this season, access to warm clothing is essential for health, dignity, and overall well-being. Donations like this help us meet immediate needs while reminding our community that they are seen, cared for, and supported.

Thank you for standing with us and for showing what compassion in action truly looks like.
