The Moro Plantation annual town meeting will take place on Monday, July 20, 6:00 PM at Katahdin Lodge in Moro. The meeting will be proceeded by a selectmen meeting beginning at 5:45 PM which is also open to the public. See you there!

This was picked up today from just a ¼ mile section of Aroostook "Scenic" Highway in our town. This is one of the state's most beautiful stretch of road & some people driving through have no appreciation for it. Even found money. Can't stop those who litter but PLEASE everyone do a part in helping to keep our community roads & trails cleaned of trash!

Although the sale date began on May 1st the new 2026-2027 season ATV stickers from IF&W will not be available yet for a few weeks. Do not remove your last year's stickers as they are still valid until June 30 of this year.

The date for the Maine primary election is Tuesday, June 9, 2026. The polling place is Katahdin Lodge in Moro & voting times are from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM. There is more info here:
