🚧 2026 Slurry Seal Project Update 🚧

Crack sealing work associated with the City's 2026 Slurry Seal Project is scheduled to take place Tuesday, June 9 through Thursday, June 11. Please review the attached schedule to see if your street is affected.

Residents in affected areas may notice temporary "No Parking" signs being posted beginning today. These signs provide the required 48-hour advance notice before work begins.

Please remember:
🚫 Parking will not be permitted on streets during the dates and times posted on the temporary "No Parking" signs. Vehicles remaining in posted no-parking areas may be subject to towing.
🚗 Streets will remain open to traffic during crack sealing operations, although minor delays may occur.
🚩 Flaggers and traffic control personnel will be present as needed to help maintain safe traffic flow through active work areas.

This work is part of the City's ongoing pavement maintenance efforts to preserve and extend the life of our local streets.

🚧 Salado Creek Bike Trail Undercrossing Project Update 🚧

Traffic Restrictions Expected Through June 12

We've heard questions about the ongoing traffic restrictions at Sperry Avenue and wanted to provide a look behind the scenes at what's happening beneath the roadway.

While it may not look like much is happening from the street, crews are actively working inside the new bicycle and pedestrian undercrossing. The photos below show some of the construction currently taking place underneath Sperry Avenue.

As part of the project, crews are completing critical concrete work needed to support the existing bridge while constructing the new undercrossing. The next concrete placement is scheduled for today (Friday, 6/5), and the new concrete must fully cure and reach the required strength before traffic restrictions can be removed.

To ensure the work is completed safely and correctly, the current traffic control measures, including lane closures and flashing signals, will remain in place through June 12, 2026.

We understand the delays and traffic impacts have been frustrating, and we sincerely appreciate the community's patience as we complete this important improvement. Taking the time to do the work right now will help ensure the undercrossing is safe, durable, and ready to serve the community for years to come.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work through the final phase of construction.

Residents in affected areas will receive advance notice prior to work occurring on their street. During scheduled work, temporary traffic controls and parking restrictions will be in place.

Community input is an important part of the process. Residents are encouraged to review the draft plans and provide comments before they are considered for adoption.

Comments may be submitted by email to [email protected] or provided during the Public Hearing on June 16, 2026.

The draft plans are available for review at City Hall and online at www.pattersonca.gov/UWMP.
