We had a full house at the library for those interested in learning about metal detecting. Roger Young and Pete Kelly explained the basics and benefits, as well as the different types of metal detectors. They invited participants to try probing detectors and sifting for hidden items in their "beach." Then we all headed outside to try using the detectors to find the treasures Mrs. Kelly had scattered throughout the library park.
