📚✏️🎯 ACT Success Starts This Summer! 🎯✏️📚

➡️ St. Mary Parish Public Schools is excited to offer the ACT Prep Summer Booster to help students prepare for the July 11, 2026 ACT Test!

🗓️ Session Dates (1:00 PM–4:00 PM):
🏫 Berwick High School (BHS): July 6–7
🏫 Franklin High School (FHS): July 8–9

✅ Open to students entering grades 9–11.
✅ Must provide proof of registration for the July 11 ACT.
✅ Must attend a St. Mary Parish public high school.
✅ Students will be assigned a location based on availability and will attend one 2-day session.

📌 Deadline to register for this opportunity: June 10, 2026.

On tonight, Tuesday, July 2, 2026, The City of Patterson officially recognized the dedicated service of retired Public Works Director Steve Bierhorst with a tribute from Mayor, Council members, Police and Fire Chiefs, and city officials, honoring his 14-year tenure as Public Works Director, 14 years of service on the town council, 24 years on the parish council, and over 50+ years of volunteer firefighting experience, including 24 years as fire chief. Additionally, the city acknowledged Mr. Cedric Wilson's six year service on the Planning & Zoning Commission, following his recent resignation due to relocation outside the parish.
