Paulding Soil & Water Conservation District

Paulding Soil & Water Conservation District The Paulding Soil & Conservation District works to preserve the natural resources of Paulding County through technical assistance, education, & manure mgmt

The Mission of Paulding SWCD is โ€œTo promote the wise use of our natural resources in order to enhance the environment and quality of life for the people of Paulding Countyโ€. We work to deliver on this statement through the promotion of smart agricultural conservation practices and education. We help farmers conserve top soil, feed and maintain the soil through the implementation of Best Management

Practices, and keep resources where they are needed, in the soil, and out of waterways. Education is also a large part of the outreach we are doing at Paulding SWCD. Going into the classrooms and working with kids to create an understanding and a connection to our natural environment so that as the the children grow, they will appreciate and conserve these precious resources.
