We are incredibly excited to share that Leadership in Action has officially met and exceeded our goal of raising $26,500 for the Senior Center!
Thank you to every sponsor who donated through United Way, everyone who attended the Community Lunch Drive, grabbed dinner at the Beer Barrel fundraiser, sold tickets for the raffle on our behalf, purchased raffle tickets, or contributed in any other way. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the incredible support of our Community.
A more official post will follow soon recognizing and thanking the appropriate organizations and partners individually, we were just too excited not to share the news now!

The United Way of Paulding County is proud to announce the success of a new Rental Assistance Program made possible through a partnership with the Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission (NOCAC). The program was funded through a $5,000 grant from First Financial Bank, which was matched by the United Way of Paulding County, allowing a total of $10,000 in rental assistance to be provided to local residents in need.

The program was created to help individuals and families facing financial hardship, remain safely housed during challenging times. Through this collaborative effort, a total of eight households in Paulding County received assistance.
Households assisted included:
• Female-led multigenerational household
• Single female household
• Female with one child
• Female with one child
• Married couple with two children
• Single female with four children
• Single male household
• Single female household
In addition to helping prevent housing instability, the program also focused on long-term self-sufficiency through financial coaching and supportive services provided by NOCAC.

The United Way of Paulding County extends its sincere appreciation to First Financial Bank for its investment in the community and to NOCAC for helping administer and coordinate the program.

🌞 Summer is almost here and so is the Summer Food Program!

Starting in just ONE MONTH, children can enjoy FREE nutritious meals while spending time outdoors and playing at local parks, Monday through Friday through July 24th. It’s a great way to stay active, connect with friends, and enjoy healthy food all summer long!

Looking to get involved? We’d love your help! If you or a group you’re part of would like to volunteer to lead games or activities at a Summer Food Site, please contact Crystal at 419-784-5136 ext. 1130.

First Financial Bank and United Way of Paulding County partnered together to sponsor lunch for these amazing Paulding Exempted Village School Students who volunteered time today to help clean up our downtown. These students help with Paulding Area Chamber of Commerce -Ohio Herb Monroe Park, which looks great!

The beauty in the sponsored meal is that part of the proceeds from Dolce Sorella’s pizza sales went to Habitat for Humanity of Paulding-Van Wert! What a win/win for the community and our local organizations!
