Dear Parents and Campers,
The Garvin County 4-H County Officer Team is excited and ready to “transform” our 4-H members into out-of-this-world leaders at this year’s 4-H Camp May 27-29th, 2026.
Camp will once again be held at Oakridge Christian Camp in Anadarko, Oklahoma. For first-time campers and parents, please feel free to visit the camp’s website to learn more about everything Oakridge has to offer our 4-H members each year. It is a beautiful facility, and the staff at Oakridge have truly become like family to us here in Garvin County.
Campers will depart from First Baptist Church in Pauls Valley on Wednesday May 27th, 2026. The bus will promptly leave at 9:30 am from the 1st Baptist Church Parking Lot., so please arrive early to allow time for loading and check-in. The bus will then travel to Lindsay and pick up any campers from the Wal-Mart parking lot. We anticipate arriving at Oakridge Christian Camp at approximately 11:00 a.m.
Counselors, chaperones, and Extension staff will depart for Oakridge Christian Camp on Tuesday May 26th, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. from the 1st Baptist Church parking lot. This group will be stopping in Chickasha for lunch so please be sure that they bring money to cover their lunch.
Campers, counselors and staff will all return to Lindsay to drop off campers/counselors at the Wal-Mart parking lot around 11:30 and the First Baptist Church Parking lot in Pauls Valley approximately at NOON on Friday May 29th, 2026. If there have been no special arrangements made for campers/counselors to be picked up, dropped off etc, ALL campers/counselors are required to return to these designated spots.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Extension Office. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to work with your 4-H members. We cannot wait for an amazing few days at camp!
